Job summary

BinTech Group is seeking a Data Quality & Data Profiling technical full-time consultant who is business and technology savvy to become an integral part of our team. You will analyze business requirements, perform data profiling, and collaborate with SMEs to understand data and define mappings.

The role involves developing ETL extracts, implementing Data Quality validation logic with tools like IBM Infosphere and OWLDQ, and creating exception feeds.

Qualifications

• Experience in data quality concepts and profiling.
• Hands-on data mapping and ETL data flow understanding.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with data quality tools such as OWLDQ or Information Analyzer.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for Data Quality rules.
• Perform data profiling and assess data quality and trends.
• Collaborate with SMEs to define mappings and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop ETL extracts and load processes; implement DQ validation logic.
• Create and load exception files to target tables.
• Resolve data inconsistencies and support testing.

Job description

We have immediate need for a Data Quality & Data Profiling technical full-time consultant who is business and technology savvy to become an integral part of our team.

Skillset for consulting services:

• Analyze business requirement for Data Quality rules.
• Perform data profiling, evaluate the quality of the data, identify, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets.
• Work with SMEs and business representatives to understand current data and define the appropriate mapping, resolving discrepancies during data definition as well as providing testing support.
• Data mapping exercise to map KDE elements to data base table and columns.
• Understand ETL Transformation logic when moved to different hops.
• Design and Develop ETL extract job to source to DQ rules.
• Develop DQ validation logic.
• Develop rules in IBM Information analyzer, Collibra OwlDQ
• Integrate IA rules to DataStage job.
• Generate exception files and load exceptions to table.
• Develop process to load to DQ control tables.
• MQ job creation
• TWS job creation and dependency set-up.
• Resolve any inconsistency with the exceptions.
• Strong SQL skills
• IBM infosphere

Notes:

• Must be onsite in Jersey City 1x week.
• Onsite 1x week in Jersey city - no exceptions
• Must be hands on with data mapping, data profiling, Data quality , ETL extract, transfer, and load exp.,
• Must have exp developing Data Quality Validation logic.
• Analyzing gaps
• Open to industry; prefers out of banking but not a must.
• Must have other data quality tools experience like OWLDQ or Information Analyzer
• 2 rounds of interviews: one with the hiring manager and the second round will be with the team
