W3Global is seeking a seasoned Dataiku Platform Engineer IV to lead Dataiku DSS administration, automation, governance, and enterprise integrations. You will own platform reliability, security, deployment automation, and operational excellence within a modern data ecosystem including Snowflake and AWS.

The role requires deep expertise in Dataiku DSS, Python automation, REST APIs, and Linux/Unix environments, working across engineering, security, and business teams to deliver scalable data

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dataiku Platform Engineer to lead the administration, automation, governance, and enterprise integration of the Dataiku DSS platform within a modern data ecosystem that includes Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Microsoft SharePoint. This is a hands-on platform engineering role focused on platform reliability, security, deployment automation, governance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Dataiku DSS administration, Python automation, REST APIs, AWS, Snowflake, and Linux/Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Engineering

• Administer and support Dataiku DSS environments, including Design and Automation nodes.
• Manage connections, code environments, plugins, permissions and platform configurations.
• Perform platform upgrades, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Monitor platform health and ensure high availability.

Automation & Deployment

• Develop and enhance Python-based automation using Dataiku APIs and SDKs.
• Automate project promotion, bundle creation, deployment validation and post-deployment checks.
• Implement governance-as-code, deployment standards, and release controls.
• Improve deployment reliability through logging, monitoring, exception handling.

Security & Identity Management

• Automate onboarding/offboarding processes using Dataiku APIs.
• Support integrations with Okta/Active Directory and enterprise identity management solutions.
• Implement secure credential management using HashiCorp Vault and other security tools.
• Maintain secure integrations and compliance standards.

Snowflake & Cloud Integrations

• Build and support integrations between Dataiku, Snowflake, and AWS.
• Validate connectivity, permissions, authentication, and deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to establish scalable and governed data platform solutions.
• Support enterprise data product deployments and operationalization.

Operational Excellence

• Integrate monitoring and alerting tools with ServiceNow and operational support processes.
• Automate platform maintenance activities, license management, and cleanup processes.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Partner with business, security, and platform teams to deliver continuous improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience administering Dataiku DSS platforms.
• Extensive experience with Python and Dataiku REST APIs/SDKs.
• Experience with Dataiku deployment workflows, bundles, and Deployer.
• Strong AWS and Snowflake integration experience.
• Experience managing Dataiku connections, plugins, code environments, and governance standards.
• Linux/Unix administration, scripting, troubleshooting and production support.
• Knowledge of RBAC, API security, secrets management, and secure integration practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• HashiCorp Vault, Fortanix, Okta, and Active Directory integration.
• Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• ServiceNow, Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring tools.
• Microsoft SharePoint Online integrations.
• dbt, Snowflake Cortex AI, data lineage, and enterprise data marketplaces.
• Dataiku plugin development and advanced deployment automation.
• OCR technologies such as Tesseract and document-processing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in regulated or financial services environments is a plus.
