Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Operator Specialist (E-Shift THU-SUN 6PM-4:30AM) at the Fort Wayne datacenter. You will oversee loading/unloading, inventory, and server rack assembly, using hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.

The role emphasizes safety, 5S standards, quality checks, and cross-department flexibility. Base pay is $24.00 per hour; compensation is determined by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• 3-5 years of related experience is required.
• Experience with computers is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components.
• Oversee and perform the placement of server racks on the datacenter floor.
• Oversee and perform the population of electronic components and install cabling into server racks.
• Install rack hardware using hand and power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per 5S standards.
