Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operator Specialist to support builds and server installations on an E-Shift (Thu-Sun, 6PM–4:30AM) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role focuses on material orders, customer service, and meticulous inventory control in a datacenter environment.

You will assemble and install server components, use hand and power tools, and manage racks and cabling while adhering to safety standards and 5S practices. 3–5 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail needed to meet production goals.
• Experience with computers and safety protocols for live electrical equipment.
• 3-5 years of related experience is required.
• Ability to cross-train in multiple datacenter departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct part numbers and condition.
• Run daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor with precision using laser measuring tools.
• Install cabling and populate electronic components into server racks.
• Operate rack equipment and material handling devices.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards in the work area.
