Job summary

Compass Mining is seeking a Datacenter Technician to join the Facility Operations team in Goldsmith, Texas. You will help ensure 24x7 operation and security of critical infrastructure, performing routine maintenance and overseeing day-to-day facility activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on facilities and hardware.
• Monitor hardware.
• Complete day to day tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Respond to and remediate equipment faults identified by customers or internal monitoring systems.
• Assist in the customer onboarding process by installing servers.
• Travel to mining facilities for site inspections.
• Maintain logs for service and maintenance on deployed assets.

Education

About The Role

We are looking for a Datacenter Technician to join the Facility Operations team who can marry chaos and structure with ease. This individual will be responsible for ensuring 24x7 continuous operation and security of critical infrastructure including all routine and preventive maintenance activities.

As a Datacenter Technician, you will work with the Facility Managers to maintain a portion of our company’s 40,000+ assets, facilities, and hosting partners to ensure that everything is safe and functional. Your duties include working with onsite teams and overseeing day-to-day facility operations.
