Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Training site

Responsibilities:

• Implement changes to the data center infrastructure
• Install and configure new devices in the data center
• Manage daily data center operations during hosting refreshes or infrastructure updates
• Collaborate with the local Facilities team to ensure efficient data center operations
• Work with site management to adhere to BIS policies and procedures
• Report KPI metrics to data center management
• Work weekends and outside regular hours to meet project milestones

Accountabilities:

• Document receipt of goods
• Monitor the health of data center infrastructure
• Operate the ATL (specifically at Equinix sites)
• Conduct daily security walk-throughs
• Provide first and third level support for incident tickets
• Maintain inventory of hosted devices
• Ensure incident tickets are addressed according to standards
• Prioritize work in the Intake queue
• Vault tapes ejected by ATL and stored off-site (Equinix sites)
• Guide junior team members in data center operations

Consulted on:

• Monitoring hosted devices via observation
• Providing second level support on incident tickets

Project Responsibilities:

• Support device refresh projects for other teams

People Development:

• Utilize HCL training resources to improve skills
• Share operational knowledge with peers
