Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Datacenter System Architect to define and design next-generation datacenter systems for AI, HPC, and cloud workloads. You will drive end-to-end architecture from chip to datacenter, partnering with silicon, software, networking, and operations teams to set a roadmap for future NVIDIA products.

You will analyze performance, power, and cost, and work with customers and partners to align strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in complex datacenter systems.
• Deep understanding of server hardware architecture, power, thermal, and their interaction with datacenter deployment.
• Hands-on experience with hard problems spanning software and hardware.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture for datacenter systems considering everything from the chip out to the full datacenter
• Work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to build a roadmap that guides development of future NVIDIA products
• Analyze performance, power, and cost of different solutions to inform architectural decisions
• Collaborate with NVIDIA’s key customers and system development partners to align on consistent strategies
• Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure industry roadmaps are aligned to our needs
• Work across engineering and operations teams to define and execute systems from concept through large production deployments
• Monitor competitive solutions to keep track of industry developments and trends
