Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to drive reliability risk identification and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure. The role involves root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and close collaboration with suppliers to improve availability across AWS datacenters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or electrical equipment design/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive reliability risk identification, assessment and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment (PDC, Rack Whips, MC Cables, Busduct, LV SWGR, Breakers, UPS).
• Perform root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and drive continuous improvements to datacenter availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on product specification, risk plans, qualification testing, and execution.
• Travel within the US and internationally as needed.
