We are looking for a Datacenter Site Operations Lead to manage operational governance, ensure visibility into the asset install-base, maintain compliance, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout our international infrastructure. You will serve as the primary link between the Build, Platform, SRE, DCEO-Ops, and Software Infrastructure departments, ensuring that facilities move seamlessly from the construction phase into stable, transparent, and compliant production environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage datacenter capacity and physical infrastructure, including power, cooling, and rack space, to help provide the organization with clear, real-time insights into infrastructure health.
- Direct the operational acceptance and transition process for new facilities, working with Build and Facilities teams to verify readiness gates and establish necessary monitoring controls.
- Act as the central coordinator for Engineering, Cloud Platforms, DCEO-Ops, and SRE teams, turning complex operational hurdles into clear technical solutions and executive reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of asset data in tracking systems while upholding infrastructure governance, SOPs, EHS protocols, and ISO 50001 audit standards to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
- Analyze post-mortem results and transition retrospectives to identify recurring issues, helping to improve operational resilience and create scalable, repeatable global standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Datacenter Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Seven or more years of practical experience in high-density compute environments, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale datacenters.
- Deep technical knowledge of datacenter systems, including power distribution, cooling topologies, rack layouts, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Demonstrated success in managing operational readiness reviews, commissioning new sites, and creating comprehensive SOPs to ensure seamless facility handoffs.
- Direct experience overseeing DCIM software, managing asset lifecycles, and tracking key infrastructure metrics and KPIs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and provide updates to executive stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with large-scale GPU cluster deployments and AI/HPC infrastructure designs.
- Experience working with ISO 50001 energy management protocols or similar infrastructure audit frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-team programs and drive results across global organizations without direct functional authority.
