Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Datacenter DRAM Customer Engineer to be the primary technical advisor to customers.

You will design, qualify, validate, and deploy memory solutions for next-generation compute platforms, collaborating across engineering, sales, and product teams in datacenter environments. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires experience with DRAM/HBM/SSD, server architecture, and lab debugging.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least five years of experience in design, product, test, systems, or applications engineering involving DRAM, HBM, SSD, or compute systems.
• Experience with server architecture, hardware design, or system troubleshooting is important.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence tools is also expected.

Responsibilities

• Drive design wins and product qualifications for DRAM, HBM, SSD, and compute-focused solutions.
• Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to execute strategic customer plans, coordinate technical activities, and track progress against customer priorities.
• Help customers resolve system configuration, setup, compatibility, and performance issues in their environments.
• Provide guidance on memory architecture, system configuration, and optimization for cloud and datacenter workloads.
• Support customer validation and deployment through laboratory activities, design reviews, and system-level testing.
• Use strong debugging practices and relevant lab tools to identify issues, communicate findings, and work toward practical resolutions.
• Apply AI tools or AI-enabled ways of working where appropriate to support productivity and technical problem-solving.
