Job summary

NetApp is seeking a tech-savvy college student to join the E-Series engineering team as a part-time student contractor. The role focuses on maintaining our datacenter, running tests, and writing automation scripts as part of the E-Series product line.

You will collaborate with scrum teams, validate use cases, manage our lab environment, and help enhance automated testing processes. This opportunity offers hands-on experience and exposure to product development in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program.
• Strong Linux/Windows familiarity, scripting and automation.
• Part-time availability: 20 hours/week, 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scrum teams and test engineers to construct and maintain hardware configurations.
• Assist in validating customer use cases and ensuring the seamless integration of new features.
• Participate in the management of our lab environment, including equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of our automated testing processes.
• Execute manual and automated tests.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.
