Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an enterprise-scale data program modernizing how business data is integrated, modelled, and consumed across finance, operations, and supply chain.
You’ll be working with a modern data stack, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric, building automated pipelines, integrating ERP data from Dynamics 365, and creating governed data models to support Power BI reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Fabric Data Factory.
- Integrate data from Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems into Snowflake and Fabric.
- Develop and optimize data models for analytics and Power BI semantic layers.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and version control.
- Collaborate with analytics and BI teams to deliver trusted datasets for reporting.
- Support data governance and security practices (PII handling, access control).
Skills
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Proven experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) and Snowflake (warehousing, transformations).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse.
- Understanding of data modelling (star/snowflake schemas) and Power BI integration.
- Experience with ERP data (Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Version control (Git, DevOps) and CI/CD for data pipelines.
