Job summary

Domino’s is seeking a Databricks Data Platform Engineer for the World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, MI. The role focuses on administering Databricks workspaces, improving performance, and ensuring platform reliability.

Expect hands-on Azure cloud expertise, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Work onsite four days weekly at the Ann Arbor office with opportunities to contribute to cost optimization and security governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks administration and L2/L3 production support.
• Proven cloud experience in Azure including networking, storage, identity/access, security, monitoring, and Databricks integration.
• Strong troubleshooting of complex production issues in Databricks environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, runtimes, compute policies, SQL Warehouses, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot production issues: cluster instability, failed/slow jobs, performance bottlenecks, connectivity, resource limits.
• Manage Databricks governance: Entra/AAD groups, service principals, permissions, secrets, Unity Catalog, workspace access.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD, automation, and IaC using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Collaborate with Data Eng, DataOps, Infra, Security, DBA, and vendor teams to resolve issues.
