Job summary

Vizient seeks a seasoned Databricks Platform Engineer to design, build, and enhance our enterprise Databricks environment. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Management, and Data Science to deliver reusable services, automation, and self-service capabilities that boost adoption and developer productivity.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, hands-on Databricks expertise, and familiarity with Azure cloud services.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on Databricks experience (2+ years).
• Experience with Azure or cloud-native architectures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance the enterprise Databricks platform.
• Implement platform architectures and reusable patterns.
• Develop IaC solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Create templates and deployment patterns for self-service adoption.
• Optimize scalability, performance, and cost across clouds.
• Collaborate with EA, Cloud Eng, Data Eng, PM, and Data Science teams.
• Support platform services like MLflow, Model Registry, Feature Store.
• Evaluate new Databricks features and cloud technologies.
• Suggest platform enhancements and best practices.
• Contribute to enterprise platform standards and roadmaps.
