Job summary

LTIMindtree seeks a Databricks Workspace Enablement Lead to orchestrate platform governance and operations for the Polaris 20 SOW. The role focuses on scalable, repeatable processes and robust tooling for the enterprise data workspace.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive Databricks experience, strong governance capabilities, and the ability to document and transfer knowledge to internal teams. This is a hybrid engagement with a short duration and potential transition to ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Databricks platform oversight experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, DLT and SQL Warehouses.
• Ability to design and implement operational standards and governance.
• Experience with monitoring and observability in data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational standards and tooling to run Polaris 20 at scale.
• Set up workspace governance, naming conventions, folder structures, and access control in Unity Catalog.
• Configure cluster policies, compute configurations, and cost allocation tagging.
• Provide best practices for data requests, access, data consumer and data owner roles.
• Establish data quality standards and automated quality checks in pipelines.
• Create escalation and remediation workflows for quality failures.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards for pipeline health, SLA, costs and data freshness.
• Coordinate handoffs and knowledge transfer to internal teams and maintenance staff.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for standards, templates and configurations.
