Job summary

COVET IT INC is seeking a senior Databricks Administrator in Dallas, TX, to design, implement, and maintain the Databricks platform, while providing operational support to data engineering and ML teams.

You will install, configure, and optimize clusters and workspaces, ensure security and compliance, monitor performance and costs, and work with APIs to enable analytics and data engineering workflows. Strong Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Databricks administration experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining the Databricks platform with operational support.
• Security, compliance, and patching best practices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the Databricks platform and provide operational support.
• Set up and configure Databricks environments, manage workspaces and resources.
• Assist data engineering, data science/ML, and integration teams; perform restores and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage access controls and security policies for sensitive data.
