Job summary

Revature is recruiting experienced data engineers for a large-scale Databricks platform build supporting federal government programs in the Washington, DC area. Training starts late September 2026, with deployment around December 2026. You will be a paid Revature employee with full benefits and certification costs covered.

Upon completion you deploy on-site with the client in the DC metro area, remaining a full-time Revature employee. Long-term client hire is possible but not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python, SQL and Spark/PySpark with some Databricks exposure.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, governance and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and deployment strategies.
• Experience contributing to solution design and architectural decisions.
• Experience leading technical implementation activities and mentoring engineers.
• At least one Associate-level or higher AWS, Azure, or GCP certification.
• Able to work on-site in the Washington, DC metro area from December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data pipelines on a Databricks platform.
• Collaborate with client teams on solution design and architecture.
• Lead technical implementation activities and mentor engineers.
• Contribute to governance, performance tuning and data quality.
• Support relocation to the DC area and deployment to the client site.
