Job summary

Amivero is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong Databricks experience to design, build, and support modern data pipelines and data platform solutions for federal government projects. This hands-on role collaborates with architects, customers, and analysts to deliver reliable data capabilities and scalable processing.

You will work with Unity Catalog, ETL/ELT processes, Spark and Delta Lake, and cloud data platforms, ensuring data quality, governance, and secure, compliant data solutions

Qualifications

• Hands-on Data Engineer with Databricks experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Unity Catalog, governance concepts, and permissions.
• Experience across cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Design ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and validate data.
• Develop batch and streaming data workflows.
• Support data governance, metadata, and lineage using Unity Catalog.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
