Devoteam is a tech consulting company helping organizations modernize data architectures and accelerate digital transformation using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. We seek a data platform engineer for a fully remote US-based role to design Lakehouse architectures, optimize Spark pipelines, and implement governance with Unity Catalog across multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has strong Databricks experience and deep knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, and Photon, plus fluency

• Fluent English and Spanish are required.
• Customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Lakehouse and Delta Lake architectures across cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark, Structured Streaming, and Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines.
• Implement data governance, security, and lineage frameworks using Unity Catalog.
