Job summary

HYTORC Middle East FZE seeks a data analytics engineer to support the analytics and reporting platform. You will build Databricks ingestion pipelines and transform layers, monitor jobs, and create star schemas with robust governance.

Proficiency in SSRS and Sigma-based reporting is highly valued, along with Power BI/Tableau/Qlik experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver operational reports and dashboards, working in a small team with external partners as needed, under

Qualifications

• Enterprise-scale Databricks Lakehouse development experience.
• Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling (relational and dimensional).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Business/IS.
• Ability to design and build insightful reports and dashboards.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with PySpark and Python.
• Experience with Sigma, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
• Experience with SSRS or Crystal Reports.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Databricks ingestion pipelines.
• Support Bronze, Silver and Gold layer transformations.
• Monitor Databricks scheduled jobs and resolve failures.
• Support star schema and maintain fact/dimension/bridge tables.
• Ensure data governance and Unity Catalog initiatives.
• Document lineage and transformation logic.
• Provide technical assistance and cross training to team members.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server queries and views.
• Create and maintain operational reports and dashboards in SSRS and Sigma.
• Suggest improvements to reduce load times and storage costs.
