Job summary

CEI in Pittsburgh, PA, is looking for a Databricks MVP Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data platform, combining strategic architecture with hands‑on leadership.

You will build scalable Lakehouse solutions on Databricks, govern data, and mentor teams while collaborating with stakeholders to drive data strategy.

Qualifications

• Active Databricks MVP designation (Required)
• 10+ years of Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Architecture experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Databricks experience
• Expert knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark, and Spark SQL
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead enterprise data and AI solutions on Databricks.
• Design and optimize Lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Establish data governance, security, and architecture standards.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive data strategy.

Databricks MVP Architect

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid Preferred) | Remote Considered
Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a Databricks MVP Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data platform. This role combines strategic architecture, hands‑on leadership, and expertise in building scalable Lakehouse solutions on Databricks.

Current Databricks MVP designation is required.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead enterprise data and AI solutions on Databricks.
• Design and optimize Lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Establish data governance, security, and architecture standards.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive data strategy.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.

Requirements:

• Active Databricks MVP designation (Required)
• 10+ years of Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Architecture experience.
