Job summary

Transcend Softech LLC is seeking a highly experienced Databricks Administrator with 15+ years of IT experience, including data platforms and cloud environments. You will manage and optimize our Databricks environment across development, test, and production, administering workspace configurations, policies, and security controls.

Responsibilities include cost optimization, notebook and job deployment, and collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in data platforms and cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, cluster management, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of IAM, networking, and security best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting for automation.
