Database Warehouse Specialist – Journeyman

Position Requirements:

1. Design, model, or implement corporate data warehousing activities.
2. Program and configure warehouses of database information and provide support to warehouse users.
3. Coordinate the data administration technical function for both data warehouse development and maintenance.
4. Facilitate change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, programmers, analysts, and engineers.
5. Establish and enforce processes to ensure a consistent, well-managed, and well-integrated data warehouse infrastructure.
6. Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and change management logs.

Requirements

Education:

1. Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or related field or at a minimum IT Certification.
2. Two (2) years' experience is equivalent to one (1) year of education.

Certification:

1. This is an IAT-I Level, or higher IAT- II level certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Two (2) years of experience in Data Warehousing.
2. One (1) year of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software and engineering environment and Methodologies.
3. One (1) year of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
4. Two (2) years of performing security remediation to systems with vulnerabilities based on security scans.
5. Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 for unclassified systems.
