Job summary

Planned Systems International (PSI) is hiring a Database Systems Engineer to support VA IETSS. The role covers architecture analysis, development, and testing across Oracle/SQL Server environments, with a focus on integration and collaboration with VA teams and contractors.

The candidate will design and test architecture strategies and deliver client-focused analyses, with strong emphasis on written and verbal communication and government clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.
• At least 10 years of IT experience.
• Experience in Software Engineering including development, integration, architecture analysis, and testing integrations between apps, databases, and external apps.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, implement, test, and manage technology solutions.
• Develop and execute architecture strategies and integration analyses.
• Gather and define architecture requirements and ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze application architecture, perform risk assessments, and design testing environments.
• Handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently.
• Produce client deliverable analyses with minimal supervision.
• Use architecture tools, repositories, and processes to publish artifacts.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and customer service.
