Job summary

Jewishcamp is seeking a part-time Database Manager for their BB360 Office in Portland. This role manages the Bloomerang database, ensuring accurate donation recording and preparing donor communications, integral for strategic decision-making and fundraising.

The ideal candidate has experience in non-profit work, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This role offers $25 per hour, flexible hours, and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Jewish camping or similar non-profit work preferred.
  • Must be able to independently carry out assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing using English.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the Bloomerang database.

  • Prepare donor communications and support data integrity.

Dates & Hours: Part-time, up to 20 hours/ week; Available immediately, end date September 30, 2026
Salary: $25.00/ hour; Non-exempt

Position Summary:
The part-time Database Manager at BB360 will maintain and manage the Bloomerang database, ensuring accurate donation recording, generating reports, and preparing donor communications. This role supports the integrity and effectiveness of data management and aids in strategic decision‑making and fundraising efforts.
BB360 (formerly known as B’nai B’rith camp) is a dynamic organization committed to fostering personal growth, community building, and positive impact. As a leader in the field of Jewish Overnight and Day Camps and year‑round engagement, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as our new Database Manager. BB360 is the Jewish umbrella over the Pacific Northwest, here for everyone at all ages and stages of life. Although BB360 has been best known for its 100‑year‑old B’nai Brith Camp (“BB Camp”), we have vastly expanded our offerings, locations, and community over the last century with multi‑city day camps, BBYO (a teen youth group), family camps, community engagement programs, PJ Library, rentals programs, and fully immersive adult camps. Compensation

$25 hourly

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in donor databases (experience with Bloomerang a plus).
  • At least 2 years of experience in Jewish camping, equivalent work experience, or similar non‑profit work preferred.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Must be able to independently carry out assigned tasks, demonstrating good time management and personal motivation.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and respond appropriately to change.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing using the English language.
  • Interacts in a respectful, friendly, and supportive manner with donors, staff, board members and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage change.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Jewish values and traditions.
