Job summary

Science Technology Engineering And Mathematics seeks a Data Base Consultant to lead the design, development, operation, maintenance, security, and integrity of database environments for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

You will oversee Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, coordinate changes, write SQL/PL-SQL, support migrations, and troubleshoot issues as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in computer systems analysis and/or programming, with three years in database design.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field can reduce experience requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database management systems.
• Experience writing T-SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and database triggers.
• Occasional travel required; on-call duties and emergency support duties as assigned.
