Job description

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, IAVA, Oracle, RDBMS, PL/SQL, MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Database Engineering / Administration:
  1. Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience
  2. Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience
  3. Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience
  4. Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Experience with Oracle Database Administration experience to include experience with Oracle data replication technologies.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining database security.
  • Experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
  • Experience with procedural languages, for example: PL/SQL.
  • Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and Oracle Streams replication issues.
  • Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
  • Perform system updates and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching.
  • Recommend design and implementation practices that optimize the performance of GOTS/COTS databases and applications.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Oracle Grid/RAC in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with Mongo.
  • Experience with real time highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, Sybase Replication Server.
  • Experience with MySQL.
  • Experience with Cassandra.

$105,000 - $240,000 a year

The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
