Job summary

ClearEdge is seeking a Database Engineer II to modernize security evaluations into automated processes. You will design robust databases, build workflows, and enable data retrieval across lifecycles.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will shape parsing software and UI data flows using Python-based REST endpoints and microservices. Responsibilities include developing database structures, guiding new workflows, and providing expertise in database design, implementation, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with databases like MongoDB or MariaDB.
• Experience using Django or Flask for web application development.
• Understanding of ReST endpoints and microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of new workflows to replace existing manual processes, enhancing efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise for database design, implementation, and data analysis.

You’ll leverage your expertise in database design and development to create robust solutions that enhance continuous monitoring, assessment, and data gathering throughout project lifecycles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows, database structures, and parsing software that meet the evolving needs of the organization while ensuring efficient data retrieval and management.
