TEKsystems is seeking a Database Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data stores that power applications and analytics. You will collaborate with application and data teams to shape schemas, tune performance, and automate operations via AWS and IaC, driving reliability and cost efficiency from development to production.

Qualifikationen

• Experience designing scalable, secure AWS databases using IaC.
• Proven DBA experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Redshift.
• Strong SQL, indexing, and query optimization skills.

• Design and develop efficient, scalable database solutions.
• Install, configure, and upgrade database software and tooling.
• Monitor performance, optimize queries, indexes, and schemas.
• Implement and maintain database security controls.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize schema design and SQL.
• Troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and documentation.
• Perform capacity planning and infrastructure improvements.
• Manage AWS database infrastructure (RDS/Aurora/Redshift).
