In this role, you will design schema layouts, optimize queries, implement indexing strategies, and configure high-availability data replication. You will collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and BI teams to ensure data integrity, privacy, performance, and HIPAA compliance.

SQL Query Optimization PostgreSQL / MySQL / MSSQL HIPAA & PHI Security Protocols Database Partitioning & Sharding Multi-AZ replication & PITR NoSQL Databases (MongoDB/Redis)
Isolate Protected Health Information (PHI) and implement column-level encryption in database systems.
Deploy primary/standby database architectures with multi-AZ failover and continuous backup pipelines.
Analyze slow queries using execution plans (EXPLAIN ANALYZE), partitioning, and indexing strategies.
Maintain CDC (Change Data Capture) pipelines to sync production databases with analytical warehouses.
Migrate on-premise clinical databases to managed cloud database systems with zero downtime.
Deploy Redis/Memcached cluster nodes to offload database query traffic for peak telemedicine hours.
