Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Database Developer Principal to lead design and implementation of complex database infrastructures on Linux and Windows. You will craft schemas, optimize performance, and enforce security while ensuring reliability across environments.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with poly, US citizenship, and a minimum of five years in database development. Onsite work is expected at client sites in the National Intelligence program context.

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in Database development.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with poly.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database schemas and objects by interpreting data models, creating logical/physical structures, and implementing/troubleshooting database code.
• Support operation of complex relational databases across Linux and Windows environments.
• Apply database security requirements and contribute to backup and recovery procedures; analyze data and performance issues to deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet service quality standards and customer needs.
