What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

Oracle DBMS , Windows and Unix

What skills/attributes are a must have?

• Strong proficiency in Oracle (7+ years)
• Knowledge of data architecture (3 years), standards and best practices
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
• Knowledge of database features
• Experience on architecting and designing database solutions
• Be able to benchmark and present findings
• Proficient understanding and use of code versioning tools (such as Git / SVN)
• Self-motivated and highly accountable
• Basic Unix experience (navigation, script maintenance, system monitoring)

Qualifications

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

• Experience w/ SQL Server or MySQL
• Agile Team experience
• Usage of Source Control tools (SVN, etc)
• Medical Industry and/or Coding experience
