Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards to track metrics, revenue, and KPIs using Google Sheets, Post Affiliate Pro, HubSpot, SamCart, Shopify, BigQuery and SQL.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT) to optimize reporting and narrative summaries.
• Identify data integrity issues and optimize workflows across departments.
• Monitor data file exchanges, set automated alerts for errors, and address issues proactively.
• Train end-users on system access, security, and reporting tool usage.

Position Summary

As the Database Analyst/Tech Support, you serve as a steward of our business systems and data architecture, ensuring reliable operation, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with diverse technical and non-technical teams, you will translate complex data into actionable insights that empower informed decision-making and seamless program execution. Ultimately, your proactive problem-solving and analytical expertise will optimize internal processes, elevate client experience, and drive continued growth of our wellness mission.

What You Will Do (Essential Responsibilities)

• Data Stewardship & Reporting: Develop, maintain, and distribute comprehensive reports and dynamic dashboards to track key business metrics, revenue, and KPIs utilizing Google Sheets, Post Affiliate Pro, HubSpot, SamCart, Shopify, BigQuery, and SQL.
• AI-Enhanced Analysis: Leverage advanced generative AI tools, such as Claude, to optimize data analysis, streamline the report generation process, and summarize complex data narratives effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & System Mastery: Actively invest time in learning the workflows and daily tasks of other departments. By deeply understanding the broader operational "system" and how our teams work together, you will be able to design significantly more intuitive and impactful reports.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Leverage BigQuery and SQL to query, organize, validate, and analyze cross-system data. Identify trends, data integrity issues, and uncover opportunities for workflow optimization.
• System Optimization: Monitor data file exchanges for accuracy and technical compliance, setting up automated alerts to proactively address errors, discrepancies, or potential issues before they impact our clientele.
• Process Improvement: Champion and document process improvement initiatives designed to minimize data errors, enhance reporting accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
• End-User Support & Training: Empower the broader team by training end-users on system access, security protocols, and the effective customization and use of internal reporting tools.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and coordinate back-end technical support for application, system, and data-related challenges to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Technical Onboarding & Equipment: Support the technical onboarding process by preparing, configuring, and distributing laptops, equipment, and technology accessories for new employees.
• IT Equipment Support: Provide basic IT support, including equipment setup, replacements, troubleshooting, and laptop wiping, resetting, and reconfiguration as needed.
• Onboarding Issue Escalation: Monitor onboarding technology needs and communicate or escalation any technical issues or concerns to the Director of IT Operations to ensure timely resolution.
• Weekend Hours Rotation: Participate in a rotating weekend support schedule to help ensure continuous system availability and timely resolution of technical issues.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Core Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience operating within the following systems (or their equivalents): Google Sheets, Post Affiliate Pro, HubSpot, SamCart, and Shopify.
• Technical & AI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience utilizing BigQuery and SQL to manipulate and query data for business intelligence, alongside a comfort level with utilizing AI (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to aid in reporting and logic-building.
• Holistic Thinking: A natural curiosity for how different departments operate and the ability to map those operational realities into logical, user-friendly data reporting structures.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for identifying data discrepancies and ensuring absolute accuracy across multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly and positively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Data Visualization: Familiarity with advanced BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Lightdash, Power BI) to bring data to life.
• Automation: Understanding of API integrations or workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make) to streamline data passing between systems.
• Data Privacy: A foundational understanding of data privacy best practices and compliance standards (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) to ensure customer data remains secure.
