Senior Database Analyst – U.S. Navy Customer

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Responsibilities

The Senior Database Analyst will serve as a Team Lead responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and troubleshooting software programs and databases, including desktop applications and computer-based IT systems. Duties include:

• Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot databases and associated programs.
• Correct database and program errors by modifying or reordering program steps.
• Analyze, review, and rewrite databases or programs to improve operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements, including web hosting of metrics.
• Compile and write documentation for database and program development and revisions.
• Train users and operators to use databases and programs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or six years of additional related work experience.
• Fifteen years of related experience, with at least six years of direct experience in training Naval Aviation maintenance and supply processes and their data systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, SQL.
• Experience with MS SharePoint, Power Applications.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools such as NAMP, P‑485, OOMA/DECKPLATE, AMSRR, RSUPPLY, AFAST, ACES, TABLEAU, QLIK, TFMMS, SHARP/MSHAPP, PSILS, ASM.
• Ability to oversee and supervise assigned staff.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• U.S. Citizen.
