Job summary

Vitaver Staffing is seeking a DBA for a 12+ month contract on client site in Ocoee, FL. The role requires 5+ years of DBA experience and hands-on work with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL.

Relocation may be required; 100% on-site; remote not available. Opportunity to extend and gain exposure across projects with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL (T-SQL).
• Strong data modeling and query optimization skills.

• Perform report generation and database migrations.
• Support vendor builds, hardware replacements, and SQL maintenance.
• Oversee patches and monitoring with operations center.
• Develop Power BI reports and data analyses.

Estimated Duration : 12+ months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Ocoee Florida . No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Ocoee, FL (required);
• Experience with database administration (DBA) and SQL procedural code and design (5+ years);
• Experience with Oracle Procedural Language (PL/SQL);
• Experience with Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Create, manage, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics;
• Perform report generation, create new alerts, and carry out database migrations;
• Support vendor build deployments, hardware replacements, and SQL distributor maintenance;
• Support roadside replication and oversee third-party patching with the monitoring operation center;
• Conduct deep-dive data analysis and develop Power BI reports;
• Analyze data requirements, data dictionaries, and database schemas, then design, develop, and optimize databases to meet system requirements;
• Gather, analyze, and normalize business information to evaluate data credibility, relevance, and meaning.
