Job summary

Defined Software Development, LLC is seeking an experienced Database Analyst in Tallahassee, FL to support database operations, data analysis, reporting, and system improvements across multiple environments. You will create and maintain KPI reports, develop Power BI dashboards, and assist with migrations, replication, and troubleshooting.

Strong SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL) and teamwork skills are essential in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years IT experience with database administration and SQL coding.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft T-SQL.
• Experience with database analysis, schema design, and optimization.
• Ability to support reporting, migrations, replication, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage medium to high complexity across multiple projects.

• Collaborate with monitoring and technical teams to oversee third-party patching and support database environments.
• Assist with hardware replacements and related infrastructure activities.
• Participate in multiple projects, occasionally provide project leadership, and coach junior technical staff as needed.
