Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. seeks a Senior Database Administrator to manage enterprise DB2 environments, focusing on schema design, indexing, tuning and secure, resilient data availability. You will back up, restore, and recover data while maintaining baselines and sustainment directives.

Collaborating with infrastructure, middleware, and cybersecurity teams, you will ensure data integrity across all environments and support cross‑stack integration for mission‑critical availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years related experience.
• Experience with DB2 environments and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle database engineering for DB2 environments, including schema design, indexing strategy, tuning, and query optimization.
• Administer database backup, restore, and recovery operations.
• Maintain and validate database configuration baselines and sustainment directives.
• Ensure data integrity across development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with system admins and software engineers to resolve database issues affecting performance.
• Develop and maintain database documentation and sustainment procedures.
• Participate in engineering reviews and readiness assessments to ensure performance and security expectations are met.

The Senior Database Administrator (Sr. DBA) provides enterprise‑level database engineering and sustainment for the client system. This role is responsible for DB2 database lifecycle management, including schema design, performance tuning, resilience engineering, backup/recovery operations, and ensuring data integrity across all environments.
