Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI) is seeking a Systems Administrator IV to provide mid-level infrastructure support for client systems, including Windows/Linux admin, virtualization, and patch validation.

You will help maintain baselines, document configurations, and comply with sustainment and cybersecurity directives. The role requires DoD 8140 certifications and the ability to obtain Secret level clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.
• DoD 8140 WRC 722 Intermediate level certifications or equivalent (GMON, SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, SSCP).
• Must comply with cybersecurity patch directives (IAVA, TCNO, NOTAM) and sustainment processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Windows and Linux systems administration, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support virtualization environments (e.g., Nutanix) via VM provisioning, configuration, and performance checks.
• Maintain system configuration baselines and ensure updates align with engineering changes.
• Validate patch requirements associated with IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM directives.
• Provide entry-level diagnostic support and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Maintain test/development environments, patch testing, configuration control, and test data accuracy.
• Support service account management and directory services configuration.
• Maintain thorough system documentation and sustainment artifacts per PWS CM expectations.

The Systems Administrator IV provides mid-level infrastructure and systems administration support for the client systems. This role assists with Windows/Linux administration, virtualization operations, baseline configuration maintenance, patch validation, account management, and routine troubleshooting required to sustain mission-critical FM systems. The System Administrator works under senior technical direction and supports configuration integrity, system availability, and compliance with sustainment and cybersecurity directives. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.
• Required Certification at the DoD 8140 WRC 722, Intermediate level - GMON, SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP
• Must comply with cybersecurity patch directives (IAVA, TCNO, NOTAM) and sustainment processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine Windows and Linux systems administration, including system configuration, patch application, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support virtualization environments (e.g., Nutanix) by assisting with VM provisioning, configuration, and performance checks.
• Maintain system configuration baselines, ensuring updates are properly documented and aligned with approved engineering changes.
• Implement and assist in validating patch engineering requirements associated with IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM directives.
• Provide entry level diagnostic support, contribute to root cause investigations, and elevate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Assist in maintaining test and development environments, supporting patch testing, configuration control, and test data accuracy.
• Support service account management, directory services configuration, and routine system administration tasks.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and sustainment artifacts in accordance with PWS configuration management expectations.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
