Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a highly skilled data/DB professional to translate requirements into robust factory automation database systems in the United States. The role focuses on designing and building scalable manufacturing data pipelines, leveraging Oracle and SQL Server, while applying ML and optimization techniques.

Candidates should have a BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE/IS or related field with 5+ years of enterprise database experience and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access
• BS degree with 7+ years of experience, or MS degree with 5+ years of experience, or PhD degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise database design, development, deployment, and performance tuning
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and PL/SQL development
• 4+ years of experience in data transformations, data structures, metadata, and workload management
• 4+ years of experience in object-oriented software design and/or development and building distributed systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and self-motivation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
