M9 Solutions is seeking a Database Admin (On Site)to work on a government contract for a client located in San Diego, CA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deploy and maintain new database configurations in a rapid development environment.


• Support large, complex systems capable of ingesting large amounts of data.


• This position may require business travel in support of customer meetings and operational system deployment and support activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.


• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline.


• Familiar with Oracle Database Administrator activities.


• Familiar with Oracle RAC 19c.


• Competency in UNIX shell programming.


• Experience with database-related processes.


• Willingness to advance Oracle Database Administrator skillset.


• Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment


• Strong oral and written communication skills.


• Experience with solving difficult problems and a self-starter.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Familiar with Oracle RMAN and equivalent Backup and Restore processes.


• Familiar with Oracle installation, patching, and update processes.


• Familiar with SQL and PL/SQL.


• Familiar with Oracle Dataguard.


• Familiar with Ansible.


• Familiar with Oracle Label Security and Oracle Identity Management.


• Basic understanding of UNIX system administration.


• Familiar with other RDBMS and noSQL platforms (e.g., HDFS, Postgres, MongoDB, AllegroGraph, NoSQL, RDF, and/or SPARQL).


• Familiar with Jira and GitLab.
