Job summary

Greystone is seeking a Database Administrator II to join our Data and Content Platforms team. The role focuses on SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration with a 70/30 split between database operations and BI data product development.

Hybrid work location in Warrenton, VA or Atlanta, GA, with in-office presence required two days per week and remote work on other days. Ideal candidate has 5+ years of production database experience and Power Platform proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IS/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL in production.
• Strong experience with SQL tuning, backup/recovery, security, HA/DR, and performance monitoring.
• Experience developing data products with Power Platform (Power BI/Power Automate/Power Apps).

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.
• Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Monitor health, performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop data products using Power Platform and collaborate with data teams.
