Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Database Administrator for a contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with the Single Family Housing (SFH).

Required Qualifications include:

  • Experience with Agile Framework
  • Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience
  • Experience with system architecture to include: N-Tier .NET App Dev (Web Services); Visual Basic .NET; ASP.NET; SQL Server; Windows Server 2008 R2; Windows 7; Data Warehousing Concepts, and PKI Infrastructure experience.
  • Must be able to obtain HUD Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications Include:

  • HUD experience
  • Integrated Disbursement & Information System (IDIS Online)
  • HUD Environmental Review Online System (HEROS)
  • CPD Grants Management Process (GMP)
  • Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR)
  • Electronic Special Needs Assistance Program System (e-snaps)
  • Title V Property Management System (Title V)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Subject Matter Expert/Business Requirements Analyst (SME/BRA) skilled in conducting facilitated meetings/sessions to define system requirements and system design for specific fixes, enhancements, and re-engineering efforts.
  • The SME/BRA shall apply standard programming procedures and detailed knowledge of pertinent subject matter in a programming area.
  • The BRA shall work according to approved statements of requirements and detailed specifications.
  • The SME/BRA shall recognize probable interactions of other related programs and be familiar with related system software and computer equipment.
  • The SME/BRA shall solve conventional programming problems; design and implement modifications to the interrelation of files and records within programs and respond to problems by diagnosis and correcting errors in logic or coding.
  • The SME/BRA shall test and document assigned programs.
  • Experience in information technology, project management, leading a team in systems analysis and design; and experience in application development and HUD Project Planning and Management Methodology (PPM) or similar methodology.
