Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our Texas team.

The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, plus 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience and familiarity with Exadata, Data Guard, DB Vault, RAC, RMAN, and OEM Cloud Control. You will design and implement Oracle database components, migrate data, optimize performance, and perform health checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline; 4 years additional DB experience can substitute
• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases
• Designs and implements Oracle components; data migration and performance tuning
• Experience with RAC, RMAN backup/recovery preferred
• Proactive health checks and system optimization across Oracle environments

Required:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline. Four (04) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree
• At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postress, and MySQL & Oracle’s database (10 - current).
• Extensive experience with database design, as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
• Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery - desired
• Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration - desired
• Designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise
• Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology
• Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows
• Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security
• Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning
• Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations
