Everforth, Inc. seeks a Database Administrator/Database Engineer II for the Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Alabama. The role focuses on designing, maintaining, and optimizing databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance. A Secret clearance is required and must be maintained.

You will work with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and Amazon RDS, handling data modeling, migration, and query optimization to support DoD programs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Database Administrator / Database Engineer II to work in our Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Alabama office.

Salary - $87,000 - $90,000

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified DBA / Database Engineer with an active Secret Clearance to work on our project at Maxwell-Gunter Annex in Alabama. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Clearance.

Design, maintain, and optimizes database systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Manages data models, implements backup and recovery strategies. Develops queries and supports application teams with reliable, scalable database solutions across the enterprise.

This position is part of the Facility Equipment Maintenance (FEM) Team. Candidate possesses essential skills including:

• Logical and physical data modeling
• SQL/PL/SQL, and ETL
• Data conversion and migration
• Reconciliation and record-count validation
• Data quality and integrity
• Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and Amazon RDS
• Query optimization

Required Skills

• BS Degree
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• DoD 8140 Code 421 Intermediate Qualifications

Desired Skills

• 5+ Years’ experience working on DoD programs is highly desired
• Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to those new technologies
