Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of database administration experience on SQL Server 2012+ and Oracle 10g+.
• Knowledge of relational database management systems, design, and performance tuning.
• Ability to develop and maintain database documentation and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and with project managers to resolve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Daily operational and database administration activities.
• Plan, design, implement, support for database structures.
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning.
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation.
• Perform SQL code reviews.
• Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff.
• May perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested.
• Support database activities for application enhancements and rewrites.
