Job summary

JustMarkets is seeking a highly motivated Database Administrator to ensure the reliability and performance of production databases. You will bolster disaster recovery, automate operations, and support critical workloads from a remote-friendly, full-time role.

Responsibilities include managing PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, ClickHouse, and Redis with a focus on high availability, backups, and DR testing. Strong scripting and Linux skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a DBA or Database Reliability Engineer.
• Strong experience with Big Data.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB: replication, backup tooling, performance tuning.
• Production experience with Redis: persistence, replication, Sentinel or Cluster.
• Production experience with ClickHouse or another columnar database.
• Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery for databases.
• Solid Linux skills and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience with database monitoring and alerting.

• Review schema changes and migrations with engineering teams, and support moves to the cloud.
• Take part in on-call and incident response.
