Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC seeks a Database Administrator for the USAF HQ ACC contract at Langley AFB VA. The role maintains database infrastructure and data repositories including TDL Interoperability tools and related maintenance and configuration management.

Required Active Secret clearance or higher. Target salaries range from 90,000 to 115,000 USD depending on education, experience, and certifications. Core hours 08:00–17:00, on site at Langley AFB, Hampton, VA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science or information systems management.
• Three years of SQL/RDBMS experience and metadata modeling in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Database interoperability and data management.
• Support interoperability of USAF databases with Joint Interoperability Enhancement Process.
• Develop data sharing schemas for databases within the tools.
• Server installation and configuration of Windows servers.
• Install security patches and perform upgrades as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in USAF tools.
• Apply DISA STIGs to databases and servers.

Position OverviewAmatriot is seeking a Database Administrator for its USAF HQ ACC contract at Langley AFB VA The role maintains database infrastructure and data repositories for USAF Tactical Data Link TDL Interoperability Enhancement Tools including database maintenance and configuration management

Location Langley AFB Hampton VA USA

Key Responsibilities

• Database Interoperability and Data Management
• Provide technical expertise to support interoperability of USAF databases with the Joint Interoperability Enhancement Process
• IEP Support development of rules governing direct access to and use of USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tool databases
• Develop data sharing schemas for data contained in these databases
• Server Installation and Configuration
• Provide operational and technical assistance to install and configure system specific server hardware and software including Oracle 12c18c19c Microsoft SQL Server 201220162019 Microsoft Windows Server 201220162019
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Install Microsoft Windows Server security patches and perform software and firmware updates as required to supplement automated updates
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware software and network problems requiring maintenance on USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tools

• Apply Defense Information Systems Agency DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides STIGs to USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tool databases and servers

QualificationsCandidates

• Required Qualification Pathway 1 Education and ExperienceAssociate degree in a technical field such as engineering computer science or information systems management
• Required Three 3 years of experience within the last 10 years with SQL relational database management systems RDBMS metadatadata modeling XML XML Schema XSD Web Services Description Language WSDL Simple Object Access Protocol SOAP Unified Modeling Language UML and XQuery
• Required Two 2 years of experience within the last 10 years with Microsoft SQL Server and implementing STIGs
• Required Three 3 years of experience within the last 10 years administering Microsoft Server 20162019 operating systems
• Required Qualification Pathway 2 ExperienceFive 5 years of experience within the last 10 years with SQL RDBMS metadatadata modeling XML XSD WSDL SOAP UML and XQuery
• Required Five 5 years of demonstrated technical experience within the past 10 years organizing and managing comprehensive database projects and all applicable data Required
• Two 2 years of experience within the past 7 years with Microsoft SQL Server Required
• Five 5 years of experience within the last 10 years administering Microsoft Server 20162019 operating systems Required
• ClearanceSecret clearance under either qualification pathway Required

Working Conditions and Schedule

Core hours are 08001700 MondayFriday; hours can be set with customer leadership Time may be flexed during the two week pay cycle to avoid using PTO for appointments A compressed work schedule such as 410 or 980 may be available at work center leaderships discretion
