Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas meet department data requirements and standards.
• Assist in the design, development, amendment, and optimization of database schemas.
• Develop database and data warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments.
• Assist in developing an overall data architecture supporting department needs and AST security standards.
• Perform daily operational and database administration activities for DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS.
• Plan, design, implement, and support database structures.
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning.
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation.
• Perform SQL code reviews.
• Assist with training and mentoring other technical staff.
• Perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested.
