Job summary

My3Tech is seeking a database/IT professional in Richmond, VA to manage SQL Server environments, develop and maintain SSRS reports, and perform T-SQL programming and database administration. The role supports both independent and collaborative work within a team, with strong troubleshooting abilities and rapid adaptation to new systems.

Preferred candidates will have experience with .NET, SharePoint, and Power Platform tools, and a proven track record across the full system development lifecycle.

Job description

• Progressively responsible experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), T-SQL programming, database administrative tasks.
• Skilled in maintaining and updating code written by other internal developers
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to troubleshoot, investigate, mitigate, and resolve technical problems.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems and procedures rapidly

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with software, hardware, and peripherals installation, support, and troubleshooting
• Development experience in building, deploying, and supporting applications using .NET Standard 4.8+ and Visual Basic
• Ability to translate formal requirements documentation into database and program modules
• Experience in server and system administration, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability
• Full System Development Life Cycle experience and ability to troubleshoot and maintain code written by other developers
• Experience working with Commonwealth of Virginia IT systems and VITA greatly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Applications and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
