Bank of Tennessee is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain enterprise database environments. You will ensure data integrity, availability, and security across critical applications and reporting systems.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams, support development, implement backup/recovery, high availability, and regulatory compliance, and actively monitor performance to prevent disruptions.
As the Database Administrator (DBA), you are responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, performance, and security of the organization’s database systems. You will ensure data integrity, availability, and reliability for all enterprise applications and reporting systems. The DBA manages database environments, supports business-critical operations, and proactively monitors system performance to prevent disruptions. You will collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure databases are optimized, secure, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. As a representative of the Bank, you are required to present a positive and professional image at all times.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively with vendors, management and employees. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Remaining in a stationary position, operating a computer, for extended periods of time is common. Must be able to accurately gather and process verbal and written information and properly prepare or inspect documents. Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of common and mobile office equipment, such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers and telephones. You may be occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds. Occasional out-of-town or overnight travel may be required. Travel to NETN branches may be required. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
